West Reservoir Centre Wedding
I'm sharing another of Alice's brilliant weddings today. Check out Meg and Muz's West reservoir centre wedding photography below. Meg and Muz were married in Hackney, at one of my favourite ceremony venues, Stoke Newington Town Hall, before heading across Hackney on routemaster buses, including a beautiful vintage red bus, to the West Reservoir Centre.
There were touches of Art Deco styling across their day, as both Stoke Newington Town Hall and theWest Reservoir Centre both have a 1930s style. Throw in Muz getting ready at the Ace Hotel and Megan's sparkly and glamorous dress and the day definetly had a vintage feel to it.
Meg and Muz first met at a birthday party in a field. Murray was DJing and Meg introduced herself. Later that night Murray found Meg and wrote his name on the back of a parking ticket and that was it! 7 years later they tied the knot and they were most looking forward to a cracking party with all of their favourite people. Throw in lots of fairy lights, an informal pizza dinner, Prossecco and dancing to a swing band and I think they achieved the lovely yet laid back day that they were looking for.
The heavens opened during Megan and Murray's drinks reception but it didn't spoil their fun. In fact Alice managed to take some really atmospheric portraits out on the jetty.
I have massive venue envy and would love to shoot at the West Reservoir centre myself, so if you're looking for West reservoir centre wedding photography do get in touch. Here's Meg and Murray's wedding story, by Alice. Scroll down to the bottom of the post for credits.

Let's make pictures together!
Hello! I'm Babb and I've been photographing weddings for over ten years!
I’ve photographed over 300 weddings, all over the world, I've won a bunch of awards for my work, I teach and mentor other photographers, but most of all I pride myself on creating pictures that my couples absolutely love, while not being very ‘wedding photographer-ish’!
You won’t catch me bossing your guests around or making you do hours and hours of endless group shots. In fact you'll hardly know that I'm there. My wedding photography style is vibrant and artistic. Whether your day is going to be laid-back or adventurous, it’s bound to include your favourite people and a few popped corks. It’ll be brimful of the kind of feelings you’ll want to remember forever, and I’ll be there to capture every fleeting and joyful moment, while you get on with having a brilliant time.
