I have total wedding photography envy about Amanda and Harper’s wedding! Alice was their West Axnoller Farm wedding photographer in Dorset and she captured it beautifully.
Everything about Amanda and Harper’s wedding was super stylish, but they managed to balance that with a laid back day where everyone looks like they’re having a really brilliant time.
The sun was shining in that idillic English summer time kind of a way (and let’s face it, we’ve not seen much of that sunshine since!) and Amanda and Harper drank champagne in the sunshine with their guests, ate good food and danced into the night.
Amanda and Harper first met in Ibiza. Amanda knew they would be friends for life – despite Harps’s weird craze for licking anything in sight. He also picked her up during a foam party and accidentally dropped her. A few months later they went on their first date, where they saw Sweeney Todd and they knew they we were meant for each other. 6 years later he proposed on the side of a mountain in the Swiss Alps, as the sun was setting.
It took Amanda and Harper ages to find and fall in love with West Axnoller Farm but as soon as they saw it on line, they fell in love with it and I can see why. Tucked away in a rolling Dorset valley and set in 100 acres of countryside, it strikes the perfect balance between grand and informal.
Oh and a huge shout out to the amazing Jennifer Poynter for the beautiful flowers.
Congratulations Amanda and Harper. I know Alice loved being your West Axnoller Farm wedding photographer and we wish you a lifetime of happiness.
