The galleries linked from this page highlight some of my favourite Islington Town Hall wedding photos. It’s a great traditional venue that I’ve been lucky enough to shoot at on several occasions.
Superbly located on Upper Street, Islington Town Hall has four fantastic rooms available for wedding ceremonies:
- The Council Chamber
- The Mayor’s Parlour
- The Richmond Room
- Room 99
The rooms cater for weddings up to a hundred or so guests. The Council Chamber can take 160 if you don’t mind guests standing in the gallery while the Mayor’s Parlour is fantastic for intimate ceremonies and elopements.
Prices
The rates are very reasonable for Central London with the largest room coming in at under £600 for a Saturday ceremony down to as little as just £54 for a Monday ceremony in Room 99.
Backdrop
Islington Town Hall provides a classic backdrop for your ceremony photos. The Mayor’s Parlour in particular with its oak panelling and inset fireplace makes for an atmospheric setting.
