Award winning London wedding photography

London wedding photos with a colourful, creative style.
London is a wedding photographer's dream; the incredible variety of awesome locations and people throws up so many opportunities to capture wedding photos that are unique and varied. From classic London architecture to gritty London streets, I really love the diversity that London offers and it never fails to spark my creativity.
I love to be inspired by the environment I'm shooting in and London is a bit like a playground for wedding photographers - it's impossible not to find opportunities to create amazing photographs where ever you look. From the diversity of the street scene to the varied architectural backdrops, London really has something for everyone, even the odd oasis for those who want to bring some nature into their wedding day.

London wedding photographer reviews
Here's a handful of reviews from weddings I've photographed in the capital. If you do want to read more reviews head here. You'll also find details of all of the places my work has been featured, a speaking engagement or two and some awards I've been lucky enough to collect along the way.
Laura is a photography ninja! She captured some beautiful moments and we didn’t even notice her doing it. On top of this she was one of the kindest, most calming and lovely people we had the pleasure of meeting during our wedding planning. I can’t recommend her highly enough. To be honest, we felt like we didn’t talk to Laura at all during the day – we’d discussed everything and she made everything so easy that we’ve decided she should have some higher role than ‘just’ photographer – I think she was probably crucial in keeping the day together! However, that’s a testament again to Laura, she was unobtrusive whilst also getting all the photos we wanted and has produced something beautiful – we decided originally to book Laura because her photography is incredible, but she also fitted with our personalities and just made us feel so secure about everything we would do together. Laura is amazing, supportive and so talented. She made us look beautiful and we both agreed she was one of the best decisions we made!

Working in publishing, I place an awful lot of importance on visuals and photography. I stumbled across Laura’s work while I was browsing a few wedding blogs, and that was it – I knew that she was the photographer for us. I love the fun, personality and sheer joy that she manages to capture in her photos.
We found it very easy to work with Laura and Pete, she indulged in our whimsical ideas, and even had a few of her own, so we had a lot of fun having them both there with us on the day. And we absolutely love the photos. Brian got overexcited and posted them on Facebook, and we’ve had quite a few ‘best wedding photos ever!’ comments from people, plus quite a few self-professed non-wedding people tell us that they’re a little bit obsessed with looking at the pictures from our day!

Working with Laura was an absolute dream. We booked Babb Photo because of the style of photography: different, spectacular, and editorial. Of course we wanted the traditional group shots with family and friends, but with 180 guests and a level of detail that we spent many sleepless nights perfecting, we wanted a team that could capture the real essence of the day…. And boy, did Laura and Alice deliver. Whether it was relaxing us before the ceremony, or almost summersaulting backwards off the top deck of an open-top double-decker bus to get the perfect group shot, they were as much a part of the day as our guests, and that was very important to us – we wanted the whole team working on the day to enjoy it as much as we did, and have a personable touch. We knew from the moment we spoke to Laura on the phone that she was the one, and once we met her for a bottle of beer and a pre-Wedding chin wag, we were so excited that our big day was in such safe and talented hands.
