It was a bit of a dream come true (and a surreal blur) to head out to Tobago, to photograph Jamie and Jason’s wedding part 2. Pete and I photographed their London wedding, at The Hoxton Hotel back in November and in true London fashion it rained and rained and rained.
The weather couldn’t have been more different for their Tobago wedding celebrations. Pete and I flew out to join them 1/2 way through our US roadtrip and spent a few lovely days on the island. Jamie and Jason’s wedding took place the week after the Trinidad carnival and the island was full of people who had come over to Tobago to recover and carry on the party.
Jamie and Jason had two weddings so that both of their families could be involved in their plans. Jason is from Trinidad originally and wanted to celebrate with his friends and family, while Jamie is from the UK, so it was wonderful that their wedding celebrations reflected both of their backgrounds. They also spent the week at the Carnival before heading over to Tobago to recover and to get married for the second time.
Head over to the post about their London wedding to read more about how they met.
Jamie and Jason’s Tobago wedding took place at Stonehaven Beach and Villa Petrus. Here’s what happened.
