Luke Pip and Eve’s family shoot – South London Family Photography
It’s always such a joy to follow my couples as they journey through life after their wedding. Luckily I’ve had plenty of opportunities to keep in touch with Luke and Pip. I’ve shot two of their friends’ weddings, they kindly said nice things about working with me for a little film and, more recently, I got to hang out with them at their beautiful South London home to take some photos of them with their beautiful new-ish baby, Eve.
House envy. Oooohhhh the house envy
We kicked things off at Luke’s mums. I was doing a shoot with Luke’s sister and her family at the start of the day. Luke and Pip had to run an errand before we headed back to their house. I went on ahead. I had a full 10 minutes sitting on their sofa alone, surrounded by mid-century modern furniture, beautiful light and hand-thrown pots. It really is a beautiful space.
I’ll stop gushing about the aesthetics now, as the shoot was beautiful too. Eve was teeny tiny and shoots with such new babies are always fairly calm and serene. I captured them hanging out, eating lunch and reading Eve a story. I’m going back for another visit later in the year when Eve is a little bigger and it’ll be lovely to see how much she’s changed.
