It should be sunny in San Francisco. Although if it’s really warm I imagine walking up those hills is a bit of a slog.
Zoe, Jaye, Paul and I were there before we headed down the coast to Field Trip. It rained and rained and rained, except for one day where we wandered up into Haight Ashbury (which reminded me a lot of my beloved Camden Town weirdly). I think we ate our best breakfasts of the trip here. The food was good. I will probably remember those eggs Benedict for the rest of my life. I didn’t photograph them, as I was busy putting them in my face.
The view of The Golden Gate Bridge was misty but I kind of like it that way. Also Alcatraz. I imagine it looks less foreboding in the sunshine.
San Francisco was colourful, even in the rain. I liked that about it. London in the rain is a very grey place indeed.
