London Documentary Family Photographer – Kate, Camilla and Mabel Blue’s Shoreditch graffiti shoot
It’s been such a delight to start offering family photoshoots this summer. Lots of my former wedding photography couples have been in touch recently, asking me to document the next phase of their lives. It’s an absolute joy to hang out with awesome people, meet their new arrivals or small people and document them as a family.
I photographed Kate and Camilla’s civil partnership a few years ago and have fond memories of that day. It’s incredibly special to be invited to share such these pivotal life moments with people.
A rainbow baby, against the backdrop of Shoreditch Graffiti
When Kate and Camilla told me they’d welcomed Mabel Blue into the world, I was really excited to meet her. She’s is gorgeous and has excellent style already. If you read this blog regularly you’ll know I love colour, so photographing a rainbow suited baby against a backdrop of Shoreditch graffiti was a dream.
We started at Camilla and Kate’s home, where they hung out, feeding Mabel Blue. We then headed out into the streets of London. One of the loveliest things about the shoot was using some of the same backdrops that we used for Kate and Camilla’s engagement shoot. As they said on the day, it was like they’d come full circle and I love that.
