:: Laura and Matt’s Relaxed, Autumnal Wedding
Can you believe Laura and Matt’s wedding was the last one I photographed before *whispers* you know what happened? It was! And it’s lovely to reflect and look back on this Hyde House, Cotswolds Wedding Photography, back when we could do weddings normally and without restrictions.
Laura and Matt met at school but they didn’t get together until they’d finished university. They wanted to plan a beautifully Autumnal wedding with bold and bright colours, where they could get all of their favourite people to celebrate. They definitely pulled it off.
:: Starting the day at Hyde House in the Cotswolds
Preparation was laid back and relaxed. I loved the matching mermaid leggings for the girls, and the boys spent the morning putting the finishing touches to the venue, with the help of the wonderful Martin and the Magpie, Wedding Florist who was on floral duty. It’s always such a treat to catch up with suppliers you know when you’re working on weddings together. I realised recently that’s something I’ve especially missed while the wedding world has been on hiatus!

:: The Wedding Venue and Decor
The venue couldn’t be more perfect and picturesque to capture some perfect wedding photos in the Cotswolds. Hyde House is set in the beautiful Cotswolds countryside and it’s lovely all year round, but it was looking especially pretty in the Autumn. The firey red climbers made an amazing backdrop for pictures and tied in nicely with Laura and Matt’s colour schemes. I loved the literary inspiration and especially that they’d picked a few of my favourite books, like Rebecca.

:: Working with Laura and Matt
Working with these two was a delight. They were so laid back and lovely. We met initially for their engagement photography shoot in Digbeth and I really enjoyed getting to know them a little bit before the day. On the day itself everyone was warm, welcoming and having a great time. Joy is always a joy to photograph. I loved being a part of Laura and Matt’s Hyde House wedding.
