Camilla and James’s classic London wedding photography at Dartmouth house
When James and Camilla contacted me to chat about their Dartmouth House wedding photography they told me they were geeks who live in Shoreditch. They love the fun things in life and they wanted their classic, laid back London wedding to be all about friends and family.
There were lots of aspects of the wedding they were really excited about. James was most looking forward to marrying Camilla and saying their vows in church. They were also really excited about showing off their choreographed first dance and then boogieing the night away to their band.
What James and Camilla said about their pictures!
These photos are amazing, thank you so much! They’re absolutely stunning! You’ve made our wedding look like a wedding from Vogue magazine!
Thank you so much! Looking at them brought Camilla to tears! We are going to spend the weekend gazing at each and every photo again.Thank you Laura!!!

Getting ready in Fulham and East London
Camilla got ready at her family home in Fulham. She spent a relaxed morning with her bridesmaids and family. Camilla’s mum had decorated the house and garden with beautiful blooms. Camilla put her dress on in her childhood bedroom. I always think it’s really lovely to spend time in a place that really means something special to you, on the morning of your wedding.
An adventure through the streets of East London
My second shooter, Jo, headed over to East London to meet James and the boys. James really wanted to have some portraits taken against the backdrop of East London graffiti where he lives. After taking some shots with some of the amazing Shoreditch murals, they all jumped on the tube to head over to Chelsea for the wedding ceremony.
The wedding ceremony at Chelsea Old Church
The church ceremony was held at Chelsea Old Church and James and Camilla grinned all the way through. After vows were exchanged James and Camilla jumped in their beautiful vintage wedding car and we headed over to Mayfair, to take some pictures around Dartmouth House before their guests joined us.
A Dartmouth House wedding reception and party
Guests arrived on red Routemaster buses, and joined James and Camilla for their drinks reception. A three-piece band played in the lobby, as guests drank champagne and ate Canapés. I whisked Camilla and James out to take some creative portraits around Mayfair. We found some pretty mews houses and enjoyed a walk through the Mayfair streets.
Guests sat down to dinner and speeches, then James and Camilla cut their cake and led guests through to the party, where they kicked things off with their choreographed first dance. They partied the rest of the night away to Capitale.
