Brockwell Lido Wedding Photographer
Amy and Joe's wedding in South London
Firstly let me start by saying Brockwell Lido is a dream so if you're looking for a Brockwell Lido wedding photographer pick meeee!
Amy and Joe picked two amazing venues for their very South London wedding. Having a very local and laid back wedding day was really, really important to them so they picked one of my London favourites, The Asylum, for their ceremony, followed by Brockwell Lido for their reception. I absolutely love architecture and the contrast of these two brilliant, quirky and unique London spaces was a dream to photograph, as was Amy and Joe and their lovely, heartfelt and very personal day. I especially loved that Amy's mum made her beautiful wedding dress. Isn't it just amazing?
Working with Babb Photo was 'exactly what we wanted and captured the day perfectly'
"We're so happy we went with Babb Photo. We did loads of research as we knew we wanted to get the photography right. We particularly wanted a relaxed style of photo that really captured the day, rather than lots of posed shots. Laura fitted in brilliantly, and the photos are wonderful. They are exactly what we wanted and capture the day perfectly"

Getting together at university
We met 9 years ago at university, and got together in our first term. We got engaged back at our college in Oxford `18 months ago. We wanted to buy a flat before getting married, so started planning the wedding about 6 months before the day.
We wanted to do everything local - ie in South East London. We loved the Asylum and when we spoke to them they only has one slot left, which was in the week of my birthday, so we thought we had to go for it! Brockwell Lido is just such a cool place, and really laid back. We wanted to avoid having anything that was too "weddingy", and instead have it feel much more like a party!
Oversized blooms from Palais Flowers
When I saw the flowers on the day I was absolutely amazed - they were so beautiful! We wanted lots of big blooms with lots of orange tones. Palais Flowers did a brilliant job. My bouquet was huge!
A short and sweet wedding ceremony
We did the shortest option we could, we wanted to get it over with and get on with the celebrations!
Skipping the first dance
We made our friends promise to start dancing so we wouldn't have to do a first dance
Our favourite part of the wedding day
It went by in such a blur, we loved it all! Though if I could change anything i would probably have it a little less hot - it was a boiling day!
