Creative wedding photography in Bath and the South West
Hello and thanks for stopping by. I’m Laura, an award winning wedding photographer, and I relocated to the South West after more than 10 years living and working in London.
I fell in love with the idea of living in Bath. The architecture, the creative community, the location just a stone’s throw away from achingly beautiful countryside, the fact that I can pretend I live in a Jane Austen novel and the ease with which I can pop back to see my first love (sorry, London, it’s not you, it’s me). And because I love adventures and moving to a new city is a bit of an adventure, isn’t it?
I cover weddings all over the UK but it’s always a bit of a treat to work close to home, especially as the South West has some of the most beautiful locations and venues around.
Enough about me though! You have an adventure of your own that you’re embarking on. Congratulations on your engagement! Scroll down for some handy information about working with me. And if you’ve got any questions, please do get in touch!
How I’ll approach your wedding
Preserving the intensity of such a special day needs an intimate approach, and that’s just what I take. You want your wedding photos to evoke all the wonderful feelings of the occasion every time you look at them, for years to come. I mingle with your guests, blending into the background with ease, documenting creatively and naturally. I frame your wedding just as it is – marvellous, messy and profoundly personal. From the magnificent moments to the cake crumb details, I’ll be there to make sure nothing is forgotten.
I’ve photographed more than 200 weddings all over the UK (and other far flung places like Italy, Tobago, Spain and Ireland) and I’d love to work with you, if you’ll have me along for the ride!
I love laid back weddings, personal weddings, colourful weddings, quirky weddings and weddings that finish with an awesome party.
I specialise in creative weddings and my couples are often doing things their own way. Not necessarily in a wild or wacky way, just focussing on what’s important to you as people. That often involves an emphasis on having a brilliant party with all of your favourite people.
I love shooting in the hustle and bustle of the urban environment, just as much as I love the beauty of the countryside. I also love elopement photography so if you’re looking for a photographer for a small, intimate wedding then do get in touch.
